I've seen this problem before, they spend their whole lives studying, mostly pushed by their parents, and that's all they seem to know. what they need to do is to chill out once in a while and enjoy themselves or else they'll go crazy. Especially when you hit the real world and the best students don't necessarily make the best managers. I love popping out with a dynamite paper three hours before it's due. Makes me feel awesome and makes the haters wanna cry although i definitely think med school is a different case entirely. I used to care a lot about grades myself when I was an undergrad mostly to give my parents the joy :) however, professional life have taught me a lot. Understanding the material is much more important than mere grades. Remind me how often u are asked about ur GPA in a job interview!!
